General Human Anatomy

Anatomy is the study of structure of human body and is one of the most important course in the education of dentists .it comes first in the curriculum and serves as the foundation of other sources. The department is progressing under the guidance of Professor & HOD Dr. Fida Hussain MS (Anatomy) with well qualified and experienced staff. The department of anatomy comprises total area of 8175 sq. ft. which consist of spacious air conditioned Demonstration rooms to accommodate 100 students with audiovisual aids to teach the students with latest high tech methodology. It is having a large dissection hall with the availability of cadaver for dissection with embalming facilities for preservation of the cadaver. Mortuary and Cadaver rooms are also available. It is having large histology hall with well equipped apparatus and teaching aids like LCD projectors, projecting microscopes, compound microscopes where the students could learn anatomy at microscopic level. A well furnished Museum with models, charts, skeletons and specimens add vitality to study.
